About Us

This site was created by a group of concerned Seattle-area residents who have seen the play, My Name is Rachel Corrie, and are concerned that viewers are getting an incomplete picture of a very complex situation. We do not represent any outside groups or organizations. Rather, we are men and women of all ages, Jews and non-Jews, who share a common goal of furthering peace and security for all in the region.

We feel that the play lacks a larger context within which to explore this tragedy. It is our hope that by providing you with additional information and material, we can help correct this omission and offer a broader perspective. The information on this site is intended to afford viewers a more nuanced look at the circumstances surrounding the tragic death of this idealistic young woman, and offer a broader perspective to this tragedy. It is our sincere hope that by looking at some of these other sources, you will come away with a renewed appreciation for the complexities of both the Arab-Israeli conflict, as well as the truly tragic larger implications of Rachel Corrie's untimely death.

Thank you for taking the time to consider this material.  We have attempted to check all the facts presented on this site and to properly acknowledge our sources.  If you find any errors or inaccuracies, please let us know.
